Last night my wife and I attended a fundraiser at epOxyBOx for the
Whale Rescue Team, which by all appearances was a smashing success. If the turnout was any indication (and there was an entry fee to start things off), then that's a lot of fundraising right there. But the event also included raffles and a silent auction. Additionally, for the guests, there was a hosted bar, lots of vegan food, and musical entertainment. I didin't remember to snap pictures (I'm working on getting better about this!) until after
the cupcakes were all gone, but they were
gooood.
Fortunately, I did have my new smartphone with me, which takes 2MP photos. Not quite as good as my dedicated camera, but hopefully you'll get a feel for this wonderful event:
