I'd like to wish all my readers and podcast listeners a happy new year -- and to remind everyone that, despite the suffering of many in the world, it behooves us all to enjoy ourselves and to have fun.

It's easy to become overloaded with all the injustices in the world, and we have to remember to rebalance and reconnect to better serve those that cannot speak for themselves. So here's to a 2006 that is healthy as well, full of joy and lots of victories for the animals!
